Amavi Charters proudly became the first sailing charter in Roatán and the Bay Islands to receive National Geographic’s Go Blue sustainability certification. Our commitment to protecting the Mesoamerican Reef is woven into every aspect of our operation.
Following our launch, we partnered with Go Blue Bay Islands to evaluate and refine our daily practices—from onboard supplies to guest experience—with the goal of reducing our environmental impact and helping our guests do the same. Today, we use biodegradable cleaning products, mineral-based sunscreens, recyclable bottled beverages, and durable dishware to eliminate single-use plastics and support a healthier ocean for generations to come.
